The Fashion Law course delves into the key legal issues surrounding the fashion and luxury industries, offering an in-depth view of the best practices in all the legal scenarios that shape this dynamic sector.
By participating in this course, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with industry experts and tackle the most relevant legal topics today in fashion and luxury, such as:
• Brand protection and the various forms of trademarks, along with intellectual property rights used to safeguard creations and designs in the fashion system;
• Negotiation techniques and legal agreements specific to the fashion and luxury sectors;
• Legal management of the supply chain, from advertising practices to the regulation of Digital Fashion;
• Protecting Made in Italy, combating counterfeiting, and dealing with product and brand falsification;
• Business models in Fashion & Luxury, with a deep emphasis on the managerial processes and core activities of fashion companies, to understand how they work.
The course is based on practical analysis, with real-life cases involving litigation, contracts, and standards, and includes business practice simulations with managers and legal professionals from the industry. The program culminates in a mock trial simulation.
The Course is completely in English.
During the whole course an Italian - English bilingual Teaching Assistant is available for both Italian and foreign students.

- First installment: €2,000, due upon acceptance of the application.
- Second installment: €1,500, due by the start of the program.

To initiate the selection process, prospective candidates must complete the following steps:

Upon receipt of the required documents, IIFM will evaluate the application and will notify the candidate of the final decision (admission or non-admission) within 7 days.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an a degree program or possession of a degree equal to or higher than a bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of English.
The program is designed for under-graduate students, graduates (bachelor's or master's degrees), and professionals.
The Italian Institute of Fashion Management offers scholarships to reward students' merit and help with the cost of their Master’s programs. These scholarships are specifically for students in need, making fashion education more accessible to those facing financial difficulties.As part of the IIFM's social mission to promote accessibility to education, each year, according to two sessions per year, the Board of Directors determines the scholarships to be allocated to both Italian and international students.
Valued at €10,500, the scholarships cover half of the €21,000 tuition fee and give selected students the opportunity to enroll in specialized courses taught by industry professionals.
